Description

Discover the joy of making pottery on the wheel!

Try your hand at throwing on a potter’s wheel in this inspiring eight-week class designed for beginners, seasoned beginners, and budding artists alike. Whether you’re looking to relax, get your hands dirty, or tap into your creative side, this is your chance to slow down and shape something beautiful. Learn the foundational skills of wheel throwing while creating your own one-of-a-kind pieces — from mugs to bowls and beyond. No experience needed. Just bring your curiosity and we’ll guide you every step of the way!

In the eight-week session, you will work with wet clay for the first six weeks of class. The seventh class will be spent putting finishing touches and cleaning your pieces, as well as planning out what glazes you want to use on your beautiful creations. The eighth and last class is a solely spent glazing and it will run one hour longer so you’ll have enough time to get the job done.
