If you love round forms, this two-day intensive is all about mastering them. Julia will guide you through creating clean, balanced spheres while building confidence with one of pottery’s most satisfying challenges.

On day one, you’ll focus on achieving truly round forms, from small ornaments thrown off the hump to open and closed orbs. Julia will also share fun ways to shape and alter your pieces into expressive forms like animals, pumpkins, and more.

On day two, you’ll take those skills into moon jars. Julia will demonstrate how to create larger forms, including building a moon jar from two thrown sections, and help you bring it all together into a beautifully unified piece.

Leave with stronger control, a sharper eye for form, and the confidence to take on both small and large-scale spherical work.
